In fact, the opposite is true. When you restrict your diet too much, it can increase your chances of binging and even worsen it. I'll collaborate with your doctor and dietitian to make sure you're eating enough during the day to avoid binging and give you coping skills you can use.
People in any body type can struggle with binging. In fact, there are people in larger bodies who don't binge as well. More goes into weight than what you eat. Weight loss is also not the goal in therapy.
