I use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)., incorporating psychodynamic, feminist, and relational techniques.
i believe a multifaceted approach is necessary in treating the complexities of eating disorders, body image, anxiety, and depression.
When working with couples, I use a relational approach and encourage couples to put the relationship first. I encourage each person to focus on the element of the relationship rather than one person or the other. I believe working through conflict can help strengthen the relationship.
